The Song of the Redeemed »

Series: Exodus

How did the people of God express their joy when they looked back and saw that the Lord had cut off the Egyptians who had been pursuing to kill them? They gave God glory and honour in song. When we really understand and take in what Jesus Christ has done in saving us, what can hold back our hearts that are full of joy and praise? Christians truly have a new song to sing.

The Suffering Servant »

Series: Communion Themes

Isaiah 53 is an amazing section of God's Holy Scripture. This prophetic section depicts the suffering Saviour and his atonement for sins. The Saviour was and still is today 'despised and rejected' by man.

Consecrated to the Lord »

Series: Exodus

C.T Studd was know to have said, "If Jesus Christ be God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him." This is the attitude of a consecrated heart. When the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt, the first thing that they were to know was that they were to be the Lord's people and that what they possesed belonged to Him. "Whatever is the first to open the womb among the people of Israel, both of man and of beast, is mine" (Exodus 13:2). This is the lesson that every Christian must come to understand early on in their walk with the Lord. We belong to Him. Do you?

Stand Still and Believe »

Series: Exodus

The Lord led His people out of Egypt into the desert. They were directed by a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire by night. Before they were brought to their ultimate rest, they had many trials to undergo, yet the Lord would be with them through them all. Their faith would be tested at the Red Sea as the Egyptians threatened to destroy them. As the Lord tests the faith of believers, we do well to remember the words of Moses, "stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD" (Exodus 14:13).

The Way of Salvation »

Series: Moving On Lecture Series

It is our firm conviction that the Bible alone is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Word of God is God's own special revelation of Himself, breathed out in written form, and chiefly declares to us from beginning to end, His glorious plan of redemption through His own Son, Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord.
