Purchased from the Power of the Grave »

Series: Psalms

Our sins demand a high price. Earthly riches can never pay what we owe to set us free from the punishment which we rightly deserve from God. Eternal life is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ. He alone paid the ransom to purchase us from the slavery of our sin through His perfect life and sacrificial death. Do you believe this?

Therefore She Loved Much »

Series: Visiting Speakers

Here two types of people are shown us, those who know true forgiveness in their lives and those who don't. We also see the attitudes and actions produced by both these types of people. Our actions flow from our hearts. A heart that is right with God will produce actions of love and a heart that is at enmity with God will show not only hatred for Christ, but for those who love him. Then the text ultimately draws our focus to Christ, who is the defender of his people and the forgiver of sins.
