Thankfulness In Prayer »

Series: Essentials of Prayer

Psalm 107 calls us to consider the Lord's steadfast love in delivering us from trouble. You may say that you do not need to be rescued, but consider how thankful you would be knowing that you can be delivered from death and have all your sins forgiven. Jesus Christ was sent to deliver us and give us every reason to be thankful to the Lord for His great mercy. Notice in this Psalm, repetition in each "section". The thread running through this Psalm is the giving of thanks to God for his lovingkindness and for his wonders to the children of men.

The Authority of Scripture »

Series: Moving On Lecture Series

It is our firm conviction that the Bible alone is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Word of God is God's own special revelation of Himself, breathed out in written form, and chiefly declares to us from beginning to end, His glorious plan of redemption through His own Son, Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord. Our desire is that you will join us as we seek together to deepen our own understanding of what Scripture teaches, that we may be drawn nearer to Christ by His grace as the Holy Spirit illuminates His infallible and inexhaustible Word to our minds and hearts.
